Program Plan

28-29 September
Orientation Days

On the first day, all selected start-up teams have to give a brief introductory presentation to the Board, i.e. investors, in which they present the team, their activities, and their objectives. This is not a competition, our goal is to be able to give you a professional external opinion and to find the areas to be improved in the next 2 months. On the second day, the teams and their dedicated mentors get to know each other and prepare for the collaboration. Until the end of the program, you will have a one-hour personal or online meeting with your matching mentor every week, who will support your team’s progress in the Program.

30 September
Brain Bar Festival

Attendance at the Brain Bar event is optional but highly recommended. We provide free tickets for the program and if you are not from Budapest, we also take care of your accommodation. You can spend the weekend in Budapest before the first Training Session.

3 October
Where? – Start-up Context

In the first training session, you will get an answer to the question “Where?”. We’ll put your start-up company into context in the market and in the world of sustainability. Among many other useful topics, our experts talk about how you should interpret your business’s own lifecycle. What creates real value in it? What does sustainability mean today? What are the essential and practical things necessary for your company from step 0?

4 October

What? – Product Development

On the second day, the “What?” question will be answered. This session is about your product. You can gain critical knowledge about the entire process from product development until its market launch. Additionally, you will learn what methodologies you should use in the meantime. Valuable inputs and methodologies for hardware, software, and service products will also be presented at the session.

20-21 October
How? – Go to Market Strategy

In this training session, you can learn the most important go-to-market strategy steps from our experts on each topic. You will gain practical knowledge in subjects such as sales strategy, value assessment, pricing, digital marketing, and how to use the ecosystem as a tool.

24-25 October
Bootcamp

It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for unique soft skill development such as storytelling, advanced communication and negotiation techniques, or 21st-century HR & OD. This Bootcamp helps you to find or finetune your start-up business’ purpose in addition to learning the basics of modern organizational development.

16-17 November
To whom? – Investors

In the last training session, our experts guide you through the process of finding the right investor and selling your product or start-up to them. You will learn about valuation strategy, pitching, and storytelling. Besides that, we will share useful investor stories from which you can draw conclusions.

2 December
Dry Run

The Dry Run is an excellent opportunity to test yourself and your product before the Demo Day. We give you the possibility to practice your pitch – that you will present to investors – and improve it based on professional feedback.

5 December
Demo Day

Demo Day is the final event when your time and energy invested in the Program pays off. On this day, you can present your pitch to real investors.
